Anyone in the Pensacola area. Just show up at Fritz Field on a Saturday. Instructors are available most Saturdays, and our club will even supply the plane for your first flight. Seven flying fields, including a gold charter AMA field complete with paved runways. All you need is you and two hands.

We can teach you glow, gas, or electric flight.

Just bought the Cessna 182. I picked up a walmart $30 plane too. That has been useful, I was never good with RC cars, cause I would mentally get the directions messed up, I need to make a left, not a right type of thing. With the cheapy plane I have no issues. The only time I have crassed it yet is when it runs outta juice. Oh, I am in Atlanta, I practice late at night 2am at the kroger near me. Who else practices flying at night? I know I must be nuts, but it works. I also have an esky 4 chan transmitter if that helps any.

I live in central NC, the hobby shop that I use most often ( KC Hobby ) can put you in touch with instructors that are very experienced and licensed. If you have a hobby shop that you frequent you might just want to ask someone there if they can recommend an instructor.

I'm a beginner in PA looking for some help. I live in Northeast Philadelphia and I am frequently in Bucks County. I have a Mountain Models Magpie, which has been a great trainer. I haven't had too much time with it since I bought it, but I have done pretty well flying it with the slowfly wing. Once I strapped on the sport wing with ailerons I couldn't get it more than ten feet off the ground before planting it. I just pulled it out again and need to make the necessary repairs, but I could really use some aileron training.

Does AMA or anyone certify instructors? I would like to become a instructor, but would like some kind of certification to prove I know what i'm talking about.Alot of people want to teach, but dont have a clue.Maybe a card or certificate???
