New Shots

Here is a shot over West Spartanburg County in South Carolina, looking towards the Mountains.
I am flying from a open field which will soon be the next Phase of Sweetwater Hills Subdivision.

I liked the way the vibration/electrical interference made this pix come out...

Evening results not as good. For some reason, the morning pix were much sharper. No change in the setup, just a darker subject I guess. Only a couple decent ones.

Others may disagree, but I found the waviness had nothing to do electrically with interference, but everything to do with vibration from the prop spinning, or even just windmilling. My pics above were taken with an ESC with a brake, so the prop was at a dead stop.

Here's a circuit of the school where I usally fly, a couple of blocks from my house. I'll give you an airborne tour. It's real early as you can see from the long shadows, so the pictures are pretty "contrasty" because of the light. Mine is a Pencam II. I went cheap on the first one, just to see if I'd like it, and use it, and I have to say it is a real blast taking pictures from the plane.

6:30am, ready to go. This photo was taken with my Olympus digital.

Heading out over "Black Hole" swamp. Any plane that goes down in the black hole swamp is never seen again.

Turning out over the river, notice we have plenty of altitude in case we need to get back.
