Nostalgia Class-Nebula MK II, circa 1974, PRICE DROPPED !!!!

Hey folks,
Came across this when I was moving things around. I need some bucks for a white wing project, trades might be considered if it is not bought in a couple of weeks. NIB Nebula MKII, circa 1974. Box opened as usuall for a looky see. Sheet of plastic on top , assuming it is for forming the canopy. Directions, plan set. One rib cut out of plans, still on the top of the parts picture. These have been going up in value over the years. Get one of the originals.
$250.00 includes shipping.

< Woops, price dropped to $125.00 plus $15.00 for shipping.>

Kit should be complete. One other owner besides me, and he sold it to me many years ago. I have been out of touch with the original owner for years. If he should get in touch with me through this post, I will give him the opportunity to buy it back if no deal has been made. Thanks,

Doug Blackburn

I bought the last original Ravlin Nebula Mark II listed on this site for $125.00 plus $15.00 shipping, and it hadn't been cut out, tampered with, or messed with in any way. It was complete and unbuilt. Good luck to you on your efforts to get $250.00. When you come down to a reasonable price look me up.

Thanks
Charly

Beautiful glider!

I remember the ad for these in the old American Aircraft Modeler mag, I must have been 12 or so. It sure is a beautiful old design. Good luck with the sale Doug.

Based on Charly's observations, I am a VERY fair person. I should have checked the archives. Here you go Charly, you have first dibs. If I do not hear from Charly by 10:00 p.m., the plane is whoever gets in line first on the list here.

New Price,

125.00 + 15.00 shipping......HOw's that for satisfying the market place???

Doug B. 5:35 a.m. Wednesday

P.S. Thanks for the picture Bill. I think it s a 100" plane. I taped the box all up and do not plan on opening it again. Maybe Charly knows the WS. Thanks gents...

Doug,
The wing span on the Nebula Mark II is 120 inches. The original Nebula Mark I was 109 inches with foam wings. This glider was originally designed by Dick Sarpolus and Arni Pederson, and was kitted by J & J Industries before it became Ravlin. Dick and Arni are the ones who taught me to fly RC gliders, and I have recently been in contact with Dick again and gotten some plans for some of his old designs so I can scratch build them to bring back some old memories...LOL Doug I will take the kit for $125.00 plus $15.00 shipping. Do you take Paypal?

Sincerely
Charly

Glad you guys worked out a deal. For anybody else who might be interested in one of these (like me!) go to eurekaaircraft.com. It looks like these will be kitted again!

Thanks for the link Bill. I once before visited the Eureka Aircraft website but I didn't remember seeing the upcoming Nebula ll. Great to see old designs becoming available again.

Epilog

Well Gents, I sold the plane to Charly who goes way back with the original designers. Great guy.

Bill, after you posted the picture of the Nebula, I realized it might be the very glider I have in the rafters that a friend gave me about five years ago. Charly says it might be an American Eagle. I'll pull it down and put it together and take a couple of shots and measure it out. Maybe we will all learn something new. Anyway, Charly's got it, and he is a happy camper. The bonus, he is a Vet, as am I. Thanks again, it is now sold.
