Ok...ok... Here are a few pics that I dug up of my Aerobird held together with rubber bands. I think there were about 8 bands holding the gear on at the time of this photo.

i got my estarter in yesterday and did most of the basic stuff i think im gonna go with that hitec 05s flight pack with hs-55 servos and one of the motors from here

which one would work best? they also have cheap lipos but i dont know what would work

That page isn't loading all the way for some reason. Just find the lightest weight motor that will offer around 15oz of thrust (or more if you prefer) with either a 2-cell or 3-cell battery.

This plane is awesome the lighter weight it is!

Keep me updated here on your build if you want. You can add to my build with yours... that would be cool.

I flew my E-starter for the first time in a couple weeks yesterday evening. I put one of my 2000mah Kokam 2-cell packs in there. That thing is a different plane with that 4oz battery in there. The last several times I've flown it was with my little 800mah 2-cell that's just over an ounce. It floats real nice with the light weight pack in there.
