barge build

Hi guys & gals:
As some of you know I am in the prosses of building a barge, with regattas out of the way for now, I thought you might like to see my progress, here are some pics.

I am building the barge with a removable deck so I can change what I might be halling.

This is the construction barge, I plan on a container barge and a sawdust barge, maybe a scrap metel barge, will keep you posted.

Great looking barge, I have a similar one and the changeable decks are very handy.

It is the same barge, but I did not make the cut out on the stern.

additional barges

Use the new "build a boat out of cardboard" method to build a barge. Can't be that hard, a lot of flat surfaces with 90 degree corners.
