stiffen up deb tail

I have basically a debonair fuselage with the wings from my crashed tiger 2. The stab and fin shake a lot in the air. The stab is a little bit warped, would that cause me to not be able to do a good loop? I will just try to put on a new stab.

Also
Someone told me to try an L bracket on the fin to stiffen it up. Has anyone tried this?

I read that the deb tail wobbles for lots of people and doesn't cause any troubles. I flew in a very windy day and had troubles but that probably had nothing to do with the wobbly tail.

Flying on very windy days is the cool thing about SPADs.

Good Idea. I will add some struts between the stab and fin. That should help.

Stuff bamboo skewers down the flutes. You can get them at the grocery store.

I put a peice of string through one of the stabilizer flutes and attached them to the top of the fin. That helps a lot, the tail doesn't shake around like it used to.

I bought some bamboo skewers but they are much smaller than the 4mm coro flutes. Are there larger skewers or should I just jam more of the smaller ones inside to stiffen up the stabilizer?
