Fully aerobatic electric floatplane...

Has anyone ordered The Superzoom and the optional floats for it? The video is worth watching - it shows the take off, hover, landing, etc.

I use the ZoomBI with floats. Works well. With the wood mountings the change is only a matter of 20sec.

Those floats look way too small, but they do seem to work well!

Can it take any wind while on floats? Or will it tip over in a gust. Looks nice and I agree the floats look small.

It's NOT a wind type plane...

At under 20 ounces AUW including floats, it won't take much to tip it. I fly a similar 3D plane (Foamtana S) and anything over 10 mph is fun but I wouldn't want to do it off/on water.

But for those calm mornings and evenings, it looks like fun, especially in a limited area.

I just ordered a pair of the floats... 6 - 8 weeks delivery...
