Took my Jules Verne to the pool
Hello Everyone.
Here are some pictures I took a few hours ago, while I was at a friend’s house. Hope you enjoy. Note I am in the process of building the Dumas Trojan F31 with Z Drives. I am watching closely all the Threads re this kit. Great work I see. I am taking pictures of every step I make during assembly .So you can enjoy. Will be back soon. Stephen

I have a Jules Verne kit, still in the box. I made a movie of the Jules Verne. Check it out: http://www.fototime.com/720B43A10058991/orig.wmv |

The model in the video is Graupners. The still photos are of the real JV.

Stephan,
It seems that going from building a Jules Verne to a Trojan kit is like giving up cavier in favor of some leftover chicken out of the KFC dumpster! The Jules Verne is an amazing model, and you've done a great job on it. I am currently bashing my Trojan model together in hopes some day I can build up to a Jules Verne model. Dave |

Slowly slowly catch the monkey. I always believed that if one works slowly and dedicated, the result will be worthy. Than again always like what you do, and try doing better the next time. Thanks Stephen |

"slowly and dedicated, ...worthy"
Then I shall be truly worthy, for I am the slowest of all... I hope my Trojan thread shows you what NOT to do when it comes to the hull at least, which was my biggest problem. I think perhaps a precast hull on future models will be the way to go... |
