This one shows it actually flying well. I switched from the HD prop, which wasn't working well at such low RPMs to a 10x7 APC SF prop, which is about perfect for this motor.

It's a little soft, focus-wise, but the original video was 28 MB. I couldn't bear to cut it down any, as my wife did such a good job. It'll have to do for now.

It is scenic, I'll give you that, but it is far from a perfect place to fly. The lake, trees, marsh, and houses are all bad places to crash. I've had to make more than one "Walk of Shame" through the marsh to retrieve a fallen airplane.

Also, one "Walk of Shame" through the woods.

There's strange wind drafts on account of the uneven landscape too. I prefer my club field and the local school fields for flying venues, but for convenience, just going to the other side of the neighborhood is hard to beat.

Did you ever make a aerial video of you "home field"???

I too can fly just outside our house, but no lake...!! I grew up at a BIG lake and still miss it a little....
