Pulsar 2005 - F5J 400 (would an outrunner fit?)
I am considering purchasing a Pulsar 2005. Does anyone have experience with an outrunner in this plane? What outrunner and prop would be a nice combination for the 3s TP1320 prolite?

Don't know what would be a good motor/prop combination on 3s, but for 2s, check out my Poly Pulsar outrunner installation (Hacker A20-20L, 13x8 prop):
I believe the poly Pulsar and Pulsar 2005 share the same fuselage.

I am flying a 2005 PP with a hand wound 22mm outrunner hot wind and a 4.5 Cosmotech GB and set it up the same a jihlein has. Flew it with 165 watts on a 13X11 and 3SX1500 Polyquest cells. Very nice and good vertical.
Changed to a 269 watt setup with the same motor and 3.3:1 MPX GB and it is scary fast on the climb.
I have three nose cones for the Pulsar, one sp 400, one outrunner, and one with a 300 watt Cosmotech motor and Cosmotech 4.5:1 gearbox. Only have the last one up to 250 watts on 8XGP1100's and a 11X7 CFK prop. Same performance as the outrunner and a lot more room inside.
Will soon try the 3 LiPo's on the Cosmotech at 300+ watts and hope the wings do not get ripped off. At 250+ watts I am to winch launch height in about 8 seconds. Need about half down stick to go straight up.
