I love my Honey Bee CP2, just some questions!

So I have a Honey Bee CP2. I'm new to flying Helicopters, but love it and am learning On the down side, last friday...part of my "Rotor Head" broke, So I was not flying all weekend And I miss it, alot. My part should come in 100% today.

I love my CP2 and So far it's awesome, but I do want to put in a few upgrades.

My Birthday is coming up (18) And I plan to just get a few upgrades, I'm especially looking at the CNC Bell Hiller sytem. I know the CP2 uses one, but the fact that it is CNC makes me very excited, especially because of it's quality and durability. I will also get the kit which includes the Tail CNC mount.

I purchased last night a Voltage watch which is very interesting to help me protect my Lipo Battery.

As far as my Honey Bee goes, I don't think I'll go insane. A few upgrades:

CNC Bell Hiller System
CNC Tail Mount
Voltage indicater
Carbon Fiber Blades
Super Skid (Already have)

As time goes, I will get better. Always hold onto this and then probably build my own Heli Kit.

I just feel all weird because the Heli is on my desk just waiting to be flown!

I use an acronym for this condition. DAP: "down, awaiting parts." As in, "Right now my CP2 is DAP."

One solution is to get another heli. Maybe a nice little coaxial that you can fly around inside?

Pipercub, Think twice about the helidirect cnc head. It seems there are issues about making it work on the CP or CP2. There is a thread about this in runryder.com. Tom

Ya, I broke my Rotor head this week also. One of the balljoints broke right off. I wonder if its because of the chair I hit?

The one with problems has been out awhile. Nobody has the blue one yet cause it's just released. When they're well made, they're awsome. Waiting for someone to get the new-blue one so we can ask questions!

Pipercub and Vario3,

Yes, that's the one. Check out the runryder thread "Questions on new Helidirect CNC head" in e-E-Flite Blade CP & CX. Thread was started 4-21, so it's been out a little while now. Would give you a link but I'm still kind of computer ignorant. Tom

Wow, My part came in and thank god. Because I had to replace the other arm whose ball broke off as well. Freaking nuts.

I want something more durable, like a CNC head set.

Today I just glued a ball back onto an arm with some CA. Seems solid enough and it is staying put. I just hope that sucker doesn't come off in a flight.
