Hi Akura2,

Would need to see the inside to really give an honest opinion, looks like a new body that is all I see from the pic, swing arm looks to be the same.

I hope it is a new bike as that means the hobby is healthy and will enjoy a long future!

Is your avitar a true photo of you!

Regards Brettos.

Yep. That is him. That is his racing attire!
The hat is a bit of a distraction on the drivers stand though.

I'd have thought it unlikely that TT will bring a new bike out for a while yet,unless there's a sudden rapid expansion of people buying them,they're not competing in a big enough market and I would think they've got the lions share of the existing market.
They've created a bigger market for model bikes than all the other manufacturers together and made the modelling public a lot more aware of bikes I think.

They've already put Nuova Faor to shame with their quality also designing a new frame and not just marketing a blinged up old design.If NF made cars they'd be making "Model T" Fords only you could have a different colour instead of black.Plus TT spares are a more realistic price and not overpriced like NF.

NF remind me of the British motorcycle industry when it buried its head in the sand and sat on its laurels with old designs that let the Japanese take over the market with innovative new designs.

Sorry guys, but 6301 is the part number for the existing TTN. I don't think it's new, except for the body. I imagine that is what the "F" designation on the part number is for.

I'm still trying to get some info from thunder tiger on the bike... the underpinnings are going to be the same as the current bike... they are just changing the plastics and the rider.... they won't give me a release date but it's already on their site...and it's been there since January http://www.acehobby.com/ace/TTR6301_F.htm

but personally I'm trying to get a hold of the bodywork... Ducati Desmocedici bodywork for under $40.... I can't wait

@Guidoracer: Yes the F designates the Desmosedici versus the 999R

@Allan: It's on their site and it's been there since January as well as showing up at that big Hobby show in Germany not too long ago, so it could be as early as this summer... but it's only new bodywork... they aren't changing the bike... they are just releasing the bodywork that they showed on the TTN prototype last year (finally)

@Duba: I don't think anyone's ordered from there yet... but I did a search on the new bike and that's one of the very few places that actually claimed they had it so I had to investigate and share the info... I personally don't think they've got it (not the new one) as I can't even get a straight answer from Thunder Tiger/Ace hobby as to a release date.

@Brettos: Don't listen to HOTRODLOCAL................................

that's not my racing attire.. that's everyday babay!
