Dumas deep-v and K&B Outboard ?
Please help me on this.
What is your advise on the idea of mounting a K & B .67 outboard on a Dumas 45" (Scarab) deep v hull? The plans call for an inboard but this is the motor that I have. In order for the prop to clear the "V" it seems that the engine body (cylinder) mounts too low. Any ideas?

I am new to nitro boating myself but I would think that if that is the only motor setup you have then set it up the best you can or you can contact Dumas. They are really friendly people and love to help. I know this since I live a few miles from them and go there quite abit.
