JOE BTFSPLK is very simply the world's biggest jinx. He walks around with a perpetually dark rain cloud a foot over his head. Once he appears on any scene, dreadfully bad luck befalls anyone in his vicinity.

Though well-meaning and gentle, his reputation inevitably precedes him, so Joe is a very lonely and feared little man.
Hahaha! That's me! Wayne, I've decided never to change the 25ft. moth.
1987tc sent me a lens motor. But I'm going to use it in the new white pico moth I need to build. The 25ft. moth has such a great following, it wouldn't be fair to change it now.

Doug, Do you think the mounting stick will handle that Binford 9000!? Funny stuff, Aeronca....

Naaaah! You could probably even step up to the Harley engine out of the Binford 2400 lawn tractor.

Parking lot? Nope, it is a High School "BAND" practice concrete surface that looks and feels like a miniture runway "airport"

You won't beleive the neat up close pictures you can have with a nice "SCALE" model at this location.

p.s., for more videos....

I was just kidding, Carlos. That really is a nice field. It was just funny to see the Moth fly by once in a while. Is this where you fly at KSC??

No, I wrote that it is a "HIGH SCHOOL BAND" practice concrete surface so, it is not the Space Center.

I tell you after advancing to the larger and heavier model (Glow-to-Electric Conversions), I have gone complete circle as this GWS model was the one that brought me into the hobby in the first place almost 4 years ago.

My Buddy Gerry (a.k.a., SIMANO) was the one who gave me the controls of his pico Tiger Moth back then, and well everything is history.

I recall doing the rookie thing when I noticed the model diving downwards and I pulled up to fast and the wings started to fold upwards and gave the controls back to Gerry where he demonstrated flying this model with the wings almost in the vertical position and the model still flew!

Presently installing a neat instrument panel (scale) and yes, it might not be exactly what the Tiger Moth had but, I am not anal in this regard and use what looks good and with a quality printer. This is a photograph quality paper and it will look good and this is all that I care.

Also, trying to install some bracing wires (dental floss) for the main landing gear such that will eliminate the bounce and will not add any weight.
