$25 for a slope version of the moth. I'd say try it. if it doesn't work, you only wasted the cost of a round of beers.

Can you advise of a supplier for this slope version? I'm sure it has been stated before, in earlier posts, but just what is supplied with the "slope" version of the GWS Pico Tiger Moth that would not be included with a standard kit? I am assuming there is no motor or gearbox supplied with the slope version.

Thanks

RD

Actually, if I do recall, you do get a gearbox, just no motor in it so the prop can windmill freely. At least that's the way my Zero slope glider came The slope glider kit is also unpainted foam and I may be mistaken, but I think it might not come with landing gear either

http://www.towerhobbies.com should have it...

Many thanks for the info. If the price is as low as been mentioned, it's almost worth picking up a slope Moth just for the spares!!

Many thanks for your info. Would you believe it's the first time I have logged on to your site, to say nothing of the TM related pages! Duh....
Nice tutor on the TM.

Tower is currently out of stock probably because GWS is currently out of stock as well. GWs offers an NPS (no power system) one ... but you guessed it... out of stock. Looks like only the Arf's are in stock until later this month unless you buy it in parts... but I think BP is one of the only ones online who is selling all the bits a pieces (fuse, wings, etc) all as seperate parts.

That's a great link! The slope glider DOES come with a motor and gearbox. But no landing gear. Weird. Then, there is the regular tiger moth, and also one offered as the 3D Moth with a 280 motor in it. The 3D moth does not have the regular wing braces, but instead uses a solid styro brace on each wing. It also has ailerons and is 4 channel setup. I'll tell ya, for $25 you can't go wrong for the money.

I wonder if the 3D model will go straight up ..... above 25ft?

After the front wing mount letting go on my Pico Stick and it crashing from about 10m (30'), I've finally come out of the closet and bought a Pico TM. I've been lurking around for the last month and read about 25% of the 29 threads.

It'll probably be a week before it gets into the air and I'd like to say thanks to all for the 'beta testing' so the rest of us can enjoy this aircraft as much as you do.

anybody have any thoughts on this? It kinda got brushed over a while back but I am really interested in your thoughts about losing the elastics.

thanks
