What is a good brushless replacement for IPS?

I have a LensRC 17T brushless in an IPS plastic frame that works well in my Litestik. Now I want to replace the IPS in my Tigermoth. I went to LensRC website and there is a black screen that says, "Gone flyin' "

Is LensRC still in business?

If not, what is a similar brushless set up for IPS replacement? Need a 2S and 3S capable. Need for all my remaining brushed planes - Tigermoth, and Molt Models P-38 and Hellcat.

Others...

I understand Lens RC closed shop several weeks ago....too bad 'cause those motors he made are great.I think you are gonna have to select another small outrunner/CD-Rom motor or do the IPS replacement motor, such as the Feigao or Medusa.

Beleive it or not, I replaced the IPS system on my Pico Cub with a 2408-21 Brushless outrunner. I need new wings now. They ripped off.

That thing was fast for about 2 minutes. I had reinforced the stock wings with carbon fiber left over from a slowstick. That didn't help much. The wings still folded on me. I'm thinking about cutting down a Parkzone Cub wing to fit and trying it again.

Hobby lobby still has the Python 30 on sale for $29.00. It's a decent lotor with long runtimes. Flys my ancient 10 oz. H9 Eindekker with some authority.

I've had good luck with the Westport CD-Rom brushless motors. I think the one in my Slick is about a year old an still going strong.

You can get them at MAE as well as other places.

Nothing beats LensRC brushless motors for price/performance and now that
Len has stopped making them for us, who's left? Westport, Little Screamers
and CustomCDR...or wind your own using parts from GoBrushless, StrongRC.
If you go the "IPS drop-in" replacement motor route, Medusa 12mm is best.

Westport CDrom motors rock!

Just tried a 20 turn Westport on 2s-380 Maxamps lipoly and 8-4 GWS HD prop, wow! only 4 amps and 30 watts for about 9-10 oz of thrust...only 20 gm wt too.

Bought a 15 T and 17 T just for fun, as these are excellent for my 5 oz Fantastic Foamie warbirds and Tiny Tiger Moth.

Tried the Micro Python from Hobby Lobby, with poor results, 5 amps at 6v with a 5x4.3 prop...before the smoke got out. Got a nice motor mount for my $29 though...
