Help!
Disability Pensioner needs a bike!!!!!

Hey all,

I desperatly want a bike but have bugger all money left at the end of the week.

I am happy to build it bit by bit.

I guess I should start with the main frame so here is my question.

Has anyone out there modded their bike and has stock parts just lying around gathering dust that they would like to part with cheap?

I have some computer parts laying around, for example PCI TV tuner capture card, various P3 CPU's, motherboards, USB thumb drives etc that I could trade.

I will do just about anything to get a bike togeather.

Even if you could trace around the alloy plate parts and send them to me, I could make them myself out of sheet alloy.

Desperate, Brettos.

PS: I could even draw a picture of your bike as trade, whatever it takes.

Well, building your own chassis isn't that hard at all.
Electronics are the stuff I'd worry about.

You could contact some of the other Australian guys, there's alot of crafting talent on your continent.

Nitro or electric, makes no difference as I could do a conversion if needed.

What do you have Nuts50?

Any parts you have would be greatly appreciated, no mater how small or insignificent they may seem.

Regards Brettos.

I gotta say, that is one of the most generous things I have seen on any forums I've read. Well done. I dont post much but I learn so much from you guys, hopefully I will be able to contribute too in the near future.

Brettos, you have got some work ahead of you. You need to honour this sacred gift by assembling it asap, and maybe come up with some custom mods

BTW, i have bought standard replacement parts from these guys before, prices have been good. Might be usefull for those little bits and pieces you will need to complete the bike (I know the prices on the web site are a little nuts, I have always called to place the orders and they have been good).

Have fun

Hey, Kmot.. that's such a cool thing you've done for Brett..! Well, it goes to show there's still some very generous people out there.. Good to see, the world needs more..

I was thinking to myself what I had that I could send him, but all I have that's sitting around not doing anything is a couple of hand cut Ali side plates I made a while back, some crap stock TTn and fm1e tires and other misc. fm1e stuff.. (Brett, when you get the bike from Kmot, let me know what else you need to get you rolling and I'll see what I have..!? )

Brett,.. I do have some old brushed motors and maybe a spare ESC, I also have some old 2400 nicads you could have too,.. I'll have to check..

(All my other bikes are setup and I need them all for the UK/Wlds06..)

Shaun
