triton + e-flite 650mAh Ni-NH - easy question
Tired of the "charge the battery until it is warm" method of charging the battery for my blade cp as described in the manual, I got a triton charger. The battery is only 9.6V. I've got it charging at .6A, normal charge mode as per the advice of never charge a park flyer battery at more than 1C, but it is showing the voltage as 11.59V on the display screen. What am I doing wrong ? The only thing I'm allowed to set is the charge rate; why is it showing 12V ?
If I'm just reading the display wrong, or I'm an idiot, please let me know. I thought I had this all figured out....

What you're seeing is the charging voltage, which will always read higher than pack voltage and at a 1C rate will read around 12 volts for an 8 cell pack when fully charged.
