Bruce, do front brake pins that hold the front brake disk come with the wheel spokes that you sell?

If not, why?

Eager to know.

No they don't. They come in the front brake kit.

Duratrax makes the Alloy front and rear wheels that will fit. ZH Racing also makes an alloy wheel set. PMT tires work great. Get te SB5 tire inserts to go with the tires.

Where to buy brake disk PINS???

***** Where can I guy the "brake disk pins" at?

When I want to change my front tire, I don't want to remove the front pins that keep my brake disk in place because I have them set perfectly on the current one I have now.

You can always make your own from an old 3mm diameter shock shaft! I did two when I LOST two in my first bad crash and never found them at the parking lot!!!!
Then you just press them slowly into the wheel sockets.
Unfortunately I dont have the wheel near me (it's with the bike at an RC Shop for showing on the window!) so I can't measure the length. Anyone?

MAN! I can't hardly believe that TT does not offer to have these parts available WITHOUT Having to buy the whole front brake assembly.

** I don't have a 3mm shock shaft to sacrifice or I may consider making a set.

(Note: Stelios, wow bro - What kind of crash did you have to loose those pins??? Must have been a bad one.)

the crash was head on to the sidewalk! At what it seemed like full speed... Actually the front tire was not glued well (MY FAULT!) ballooned and took with it the ESC switch which I had double side taped under the steering servo. IT WAS an accident waiting to happen...
Broke disc, hub, ruined a brand new PMT200 tire, ruined the black kit TT insert, lost two pins... oh... I just had forgotten how painful it was!!!

Anyway...
However, TT does not even sell the disc brake alone. Only in a set...

Edit: You can go to your local HS and ask for the longest/cheapest shock shafts. Then cut accordingly... Each shaft may make 3-4 pins...

Kev71 you can buy 3mm dowle pins from McMaster-Carr.com on line. Just measure your pins and order what you need. Ya may have to buy them a bit longer and grind a mil or 2 off to get the length you need.
