Bruce, Have you given up on Nomadio or do you have them on backorder or something ?

Transceivers are rare as hens teeth at the moment.

amain.com is the only retailer Nomadio sells to now. Strange way to run a business but that is their prerogative.

sure is strange. I asked Nomadio directly if they could sell me one and they told me to backorder one with amain. I didn't know they were the only retailer though..

Business must be good

After months of looking I finally got a new radio and 2 transievers (plus sensors).
Apparently Nomadio was/is focussing their business on their military contracts... a lot more money in those contracts than the RC world.

Aren't they pretty much the same worlds anymore, with all the drones, robots, etc? Chris

Yea, but the military pays a lot more, and have much more specific requirements. I'm sure the military doesn't use any of the same hardware the hobby industry uses. They should for some of it, they would save a lot of money. You know $2000 wrenches and all.

Don't know about new radios but they still apparently do runs of transceivers every now and then. Guess I'll just have to wait until they ship the next run to amain.
Maybe Obama will cut the military budget and Nomadio can get back to making RC stuff for us

I was told they were supposed to in this coming week but I haven't been notified that they shipped.

I want to apologize to all people that pre-ordered from me. If I had known how badly Venom was going to bungle the release I would have never offered them for pre-order.
