Great Service from Horizon Service Center

I had to send my 9303 in for some warranty work. The elevator subtrim failed and I broke the aux 2 switch. I sent the radio via 2 to 3 day US priority mail Tuesday the 21st. I got the radio back today. They replaced the trim switch and the aux switch for no charge. The only charge was for the shipping back to me. Now I'm ready for some flying this weekend.

Thanks for posting that, good to know.

The left slider that I use to run camber has broken so that I can't feel the center indent anymore. I'll probably have to send in my 9303. Good thing the warranty is 3 years.

I never could feel the center indent so what I did to both sliders was to open the radio up and pull the two sliders out (they actually fall out). You can see the gear like teeth that make up the ratcheting. I scraped a large groove at the center with an exacto blade so the lever has a big click when it gets to the center indent. So far it has been a very good modification for my thermal and DLG ships. Not as good as the Futaba beep but it works well.

Now that is a great idea. I'll open mine up and have a look. I've often thought the sliders didn't offer enough tactile feedback. A beep, like on the trim, would be great. 9303v2?
