Another tool that I wish I had bought when I first started this hobby is a watt meter. I use this one tool more than anything else. You really need to watch how many amps your pulling with those prop+motor and battery combinations.

Yea! I could use one of those. My 7.2 volt 400 w' 3s pulls 14+ amps on a 6x4 wot. It gets hot real quick but I can fly around at half throttle as fast as my 7 cells wot. Unfortunately I have no control. WOT is good for me, just not good for the motor.

Mini 16

My mini 16 flies. Quite fast too! I gave the motor a little up, went with the 4 1/4" prop and it was all good. Except for the ungodly winds, weatherman said 17 and it was more like 30+mph. Once I was able to get it trimed it flew well. Once the wind caught it it flew away. Crashed it about ?? times and decided to call it quits till the wind settles. This little clucker ain't no chickenhawk! But the 130 can makes it scoot, I'd say 50 easy. The wing broke and the motor came off, but I just taped it back and it's A-ok! Gotta have that upward angle on the motor. When I first taped it I lost the angle and it wouldn't fly. Reset the angle and A-ok.

Wow that guy can really fly. HAHAHA. I had to trim it way up to make it turn and keep it from getting away. First crash was in a swamp with about a foot of water. It's real touchy on the controls and when you try to pull up it gets squirrely? Can't take any wind cause it's so light, but it's fast.

Well I had pic's of my big one a while back with a crappy brushed 300 geared 2 to 1 it flew ok on a 2 cell and I know it would fry on a 3 cell but I got another brushless controler so I strapped on a 3 cell and it flew great! for about 45 seconds lol. It flew for about 3 mins total after the first 45 sec's it was cutting in and out pretty bad was a great laugh. Anyhow last Sunday while flying the small one I burned up my 18T cd rom motor. SO looking though my stuff I came up with a fun idea. I had a small brushed 300 ducted fan so I made a tube out of some blu and fit it in. Looks nice not a lot of thrust but will see this weekend.

My 16" wing was just too hard to see and too squirrely. Gonna do a full size w' twin 130's and see how that goes. Hopefully it's just as fast.

That's the first wing I've seen with a fan. Wonder how fast it'll be.

SLOW.......... way under powered even cooking the little 300 on a 3 cell. It did fly though.

I crashed the big wing today while trying to get a vid. Guess I need a helmet cam lol. ripped everything off the wing but didnt hurt the wing it self. The lipo got pretty beat up but not damaged.

Newest bluecore wing. Been wanting to fly it since last week but the winds just won't let up. So I took it out today in 15 gusting to 21 mph winds It actually flew pretty good. New cdrom motor using 4.5x4 gws prop spinning around 21k rpms. In a word it was fast. Need to get it in some calm winds so I can really check it out. Only made about 3 passes around my field, downwind passes were a bit scarey as I nailed it WOT and ran out of room quickly. Going to have to wind another motor maybe 8 turns of 22 gauge or 9 of 23 gauge. Really need a bit more thrust.
Have a good Memorial Day

I think this one has 10 turns 24 gauge. Not rreally liking it as I can't run any props bigger than the 4.5.x4 without it really getting hot.
