any one have some good 3-veiws for a mig-29?

it seem my large f-16 would turn out to be to expencive to build and a real %&^%& to crash. so i think i will build and desine my own mig instead.

would useing blown up 3-veiws be a good lay out for desining the aircraft?

as for bulk head i would take a 1/48 model and cut it up in section then trace the bulk heads then scale them up to the size on my plane

whats the best way to cut up those plastic models? just useing a x-acto? a small saw?

tell me what you think

What I have done is use a CONTOUR GAUGE to outline the bulkhead shapes, but if you really want to cut up a perfectly good model use a ZONA saw and put the pieces on your scanner...Voila instant cross sections!

Eduardos Page is the best place I have seen to get free, accurate, 3-views of hundreds of aircraft. If he doesn't have what you need, email him and he'll get one!

i-fly, did you get those .jpg and .wmf files I sent you? Do you have an account other than hotmail I can send the files to, because I think that hotmail may not accept files over 100Kb in size... I can go lower still in resolution, but I think less than 600dpi it doesn't look so hot.

next what would be a good power system for this twin?
i personaly thin a winner would be the kress jets
RK-740 K&B 7.5
ID: 4.13 in.
Weight: 28.0 oz. (fight weight)
BHP: 2.20
RPM: 21,000
Thrust: 6.8 lb.

what would be the eletric couter part and weights of fight componets?

it seems to me that charging batteries for like 4 hrs to fly for 5 mins is just not practical because with glow power all you need to do is add a bigger fuel tank and your of for 10-20 mins of flight time just land let cool refule half hr or less your in the air again

I found a site while looking for a view of a F-15, it had a page on the Mig 29. www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/ac/row/
It is small, maybe it is useful.

i-fly,

If you want NICE drawings of the 29, check this out. It's a zipped archive with six individual sheets, all are 3500x2400, b/w.

Tons of cross-sections and details.

www.i.kth.se/i96_les/mig29.zip
834 kb, worth every byte!

Have fun!
