Plainview, Texas Indoor Fun Fly - April 29, 2006

Hey, Everyone!

I want to announce the 1st Annual Plainview, TX Electric Indoor Fun Fly!

The date for this event is Saturday, April 29, 2006! The location is at the Ollie Liner Center in Plainview, Texas, 2000 S Columbia St (47 miles north of Lubbock on I-27). This facility is 302' long, 136" Wide, 15' at roof base, and 25' at the peak. So it's BIG! Depending on the number and type of planes, we will have one area for oval and another for 3D. Who wouldn't like that?

Flying will be from 9:00am to 12:00 midnight. AMA membership required, along with a $10 landing which is used pay for the rent and sanctioning fees. Concessions will be available at the event.

20oz. Weight limit and max 3 cell LiPo (or equal NiCad/NiMh) power pack. Aircraft that exceed this limit must be approved by the CD. Docile aircraft are likely to be approved.

Tell everyone you know and come have a lot of fun!

More info to come, so keep checking back or call (806) 285-2445.

Hope to see everyone there,
Reegan

Hey, Mike!

Glad to hear that you might be able to make it! Bringing some of your Midland crew would make a great addition to the event. Robert would be another fun guy to add to the pilot list.

Wow!
I am going to have to think more seriously about this...Sherman is 4/22, and SEFF is the week after....3 weekend of events in a row! But it sure is a nice place.

Hey, Gary!

Glad that you agree with me on the size. It is great to know that you will be there Gary. Every one get a kick out of the stuff you bring.

Mom is getting annoyed because I have already started the count down. T-Minus 38 days and counting.

Looking foward to seeing everybody,
Reegan

I'll be there.

That's by far the best indoor place I've seen so close to home yet! Good work Reegan!

We would like to have you join us, Kirby! Just look at it this way, the Sherman and Plainview events would make a great intro to SEFF.

Thanks for the in-flight pictures of my Double Edge. They are the only good pics that I have of it. Our camera works great for still pics, but moving shots are not so good.

Hope to see you there,
Reegan

Great to know that you are coming, Bryan! This is a good place to fly, a lot bigger than the Reese gym that we flew in. Oil up that slow stick motor and we will see you there!

Bring Lee, and his plane along with you also.

North of Lubbock isn't too far for me. I have finals around that time, so it will be tight, but I think I might be able to make it

PS I like the flying to midnight!!

Still gonna cost me $120 in gas, but thats not as bad as the last two trips I took.

Hey, Mike!

It is great to know that you will be coming to our event! Now we can get the full 3D madness out of this fun fly.

I can't say that I know what the "Chicken Blender Game" is, but I might give it a try.

Reegan
