Like Goop, but more thin and spreadable??

For me, Goop seems to work the best on EPP for a flexible joint. I use the GWS glue on styrofoam and epoxy for a fast fix.
Is there a glue simular to Goop that is thinner? When glueing larger pieces, like fuselage halves, it kind of hard to spread. Butch

What about hot glue?

Some people thin goop with toluene, but it's nasty stuff.

For EPP I like Poly Urethane wood glue (I think it's called Gorrilla glue in the US) as it's thinner, lighter and better at filling gaps.

ProBond is another name for the PolyU adhesive here..
Best stuff for foam, I think (goop eats EPS anyway..)

"Quick Hold(Craft)".
Has anyone tryed it?

I use polyurethane glue (Gorilla Glue, Probond, etc.) for just about everything. Mix it 3:1 with water to speed up the curing. It foams up and fills in every nook and cranny. It’s flexible yet strong. Doesn't take much and is easy to apply.

I will ask this question,
Has anyone used it to bed in a carbon fiber spar, into an EPP wing core(like you
would with epoxy) not using it as an contact glue?
I have a ZOOM ZOOM 4D I,m getting ready to glue the spars into.
I,m using a flat carbon spar, rather than the AL rods
I"ve used UHU this way but never GOOP.

Why not just thin the Goop with Xylene (Xylol) to the desired consistancy?

I tried finding toluene in the paint and hardware stores, but no luck.
Yea, the goop fumes are pertty bad. Last time I glued a large piece together, I got a headache. I'll try to find xylene.
Sci, I've been building EPP foamies, with 9mm thick wings and .080 and .090 carbon fiber rods in them. I use 15 min epoxy, but if I have time, I have gooped them in, put a piece of wax paper over it to smooth it out, but it has to dry more than 24 hrs usually. Once it dries its pertty tuff. Butch

Works very well for imbedding cf spars into EPP foam.
I've done 'em all the way up to 83" wings

This is a goop-like adhesive but much thinner and very spreadable. It works great for everything I've tried it on.
