Question
Where can I find plans for T-28 Trojan

I've been looking for a while but can't seem to find anything at all. Does anyone have any idea where I find plans for a North American T-28 Trojan? Also looking for Avro Lancaster plans. Hope to build micro out of both. Thanks for any help!

Not exactly micro, but I guess you could shrink them.

http://www.modelairplanenews.com/cli...rojant28_2.asp for build summary.

As for the Lanc, there's here on E-Zone for Lancs of various sizes. There's an article on a Lanc with 4 Speed 400's and plans here: http://www.modelflying.co.uk/feature...e34/index.html

Thanks vonJaerschky! Big help. New to the R/C Groups but I have been on the internet looking for months and found only specs on full size.

Dave Platt has plans for an IC T-28. A bit on the large size (1/6 scale).

Hi C B.
Guillows do a 16" Wingspan free flight Trojan - complete kit with plastic mouldings.

www.guillow.com
The plans would be a good starting point but the wood is usually useless.
I've done 3 of the 16" kits - build it quickly & roughly using the supplied wood so you can see in 3D where you can modify or lighten it.
Then copy the plans onto decent wood and build one that will fly.
Having said al that, I've seen (here on the e-zone) guys who've made them fly using the supplied wood so it's do-able.

Check with Vance Mosher at www.vanvan.us

He has a big T-28 done in CAD and could probably plot you out a complete set of drawings at any scale you might like to build.

T-28 in 3-D

I have created a 3-D of the T-28 however it is scaled to 190ish" wing span.

If you need any 3-d renderings I have them.

I have not yet converted to CAD yet, but it would be easy to do.

Thanks, DAG.

Thanks for all the help guys. I've been out the last couple of days and this is the only time I'll have all this week to reply to anything. I've got a lot of doctors app. to go to and al lot of test to take. I got rushed to the emergency room monday. Heart rate went way above normal and lost vision in my right eye. A few cat scans and MRI's later and still nothing found. I'm going to stay in town with family close to the hospital. Be back in a few days.
