Hobby-Lobby / Scorpio Focke-Wulf 190 (FW190)
Here is my latest plane, a Scorpio Focke-Wulf 190 (FW190) that I purchased from the Hobby-Lobby Crash Sale a few weeks ago. Here are the specs:
BP 21 Outrunner Brushless Motor
BP 15A Brushless ESC
Hitec Micro 05S 5 Ch 72 Mhz Micro Receiver
8 x 4 Direct Drive Propeller
Hitec HS-55 servos
1000 mAh Thunder Power Li-Poly battery
AUW = 18 oz
I had to add 3/4 oz of lead just under the back of the cowl to balance the plane, but this did not seem too bad as the spec weight is 27 oz and mine is only 18 oz (lead included), only 2/3 the stock weight.
I flew it this morning before the wind picked up and it is a floater at just 1/4 to 1/3 throttle. Push the throttle to full and up she goes. I am well pleased.

Thanks for the kind words. I agree a pilot is needed. I didn't like the one that came with the kit, so I am attempting to carve one myself.
