2.4ghz spektrum radio system

Has anyone tried this yet. I'm thinking of buying one since initially reviewed as interferece free but know I hear that there is some airborne interence.
Can't decide whether to go this way or stick to 72Mhz

I have one and have many indoor and outdoor flights... I haven't been hit yet.. It is a good system, all that is missing is rudder expo!

My cousin recently purchased the Spektrum and has yet to have any glitches. Sure seems like a very good radio system.

I have 5 planes on this now..I just test flew our prototype mustang and the wind took it a good distance away from me. I had no glitches or anything! I have flown 3D sport and combat planes with no problems. The cool thing is when we fly combat and there ar 6 of of us we don;t have to spread 400 feet down the runway!

Also it is a JR box and I like them better!

15 flights on mine so far

15 flights on mine so far with no problems whatsoever. A few of the guys in the local club are using them in full size planes with no problems. I know about a dozen people who have them and haven't heard of a single problem.

Now I just got to build a cable to use it with FMS

dx6

Just installed a dx6 reciever into my nitro boat. Going to run it on saturday. With a lot of people running boats i have been getting hit, not a big problem with a boat. Now i will only have one tx to worry about and keep charged. I am using my 6102 hybrid.

Today´s the day when I said bye bye to my "old " Futaba FX 18.
Why?
Yesterday my DX6 arrived, had three flights with a GWS P51 100% glich free and two flights with my Formosa II. Took em both to their limits and I´m 100% satisfied.
AND: Had a beautiful Cessna 337 for a maiden today. Didn´t have the time to program it into my new DX6 so I decided to fly it with my already programed FX18.
Guess what happened after a perfect flying day with my new DX6????
I lost the Cessna 337 with that stupid MHZ-Oldtimer-Technologie-Crap.
Never again!
It´s for sale now... Acually: Pay for shipping and you get it for free....

Flew ALL DAy on the Spectrum at Big Springs, not one hit whilethe GWS was getting hits. THe guys flying the new berg receivers also did very well with fewer hits then GWS.
