The odd thing is that this package looks like it originated in Hobby-Lobby USA but somehow it was mailed from Sweden! Have a look at the picture.

I can only assume they do it this way to reduce shipping costs. Creative!

That Sweden thing is odd!
I ordered the servos from the crash sale two weeks ago.
It's been 14 days since Hobby Lobby shipped it. It must be sitting in customs
Hopfully it comes soon.
I was thinking of getting that motor for $19.00 good deal.
The receivers, I ordered 3 will come in on Friday. I was told and will then ship
shortly after that.

There must be something going on at the post office in TN.
I just had a package go via Malmo Sweden as well!.
Mine took over a month to get to me. Shipped on Feb 16, arrived on Mar 30.
Probably something could be said here about the American educational system, not knowing the difference between Canada and Europe.
Or maybe someone at the post office has something against Canadians

I bet your servos are in Sweden!

I paid $25 for my 400XT (ordered between sales ) but still consider it a great deal for a great motor. Now that they're on for $19.90 again and shipping is only $2.50, it's very temping.....

This is my 2nd one, my first one went onto a BlueFunder, flies great on a 2S 1500mah. I keep changing my mind with this one....the current thought is a slowflyer, a Slow Stick type plane....but we'll see. Other ideas are....an EPP (If I can find some at a reasonable price) delta wing, or maybe a 3D type plane, an ultimate bipe would be nice....so many planes.....so little money. ;-)

What are your plans for your 400XT?

Leon.

Not sure to many choices at this point in time.
I've got several motors not in planes that need to be flown and tested first.

I realy need to stop buying motors for a while.
I keep giving them to my son for his planes.
And I still have a bunch

As a former rc industry guy I know that several distributors will Drop ship from the Manufacturer if somthing has been on back order for a while. I am not sure where the 400xt is made but it kinda seems like this was the case. oryou were rite and it was a case of some stupid american (I can say this as I am an American) not knowing where Canada is.

EDIT: Ok Ok so I read the last page of the posts and it seems that the person in Tn. dose not realise that 4billion sq mile land mass directly above the U.S. is Canada. (sorry guys we are not all like this)

The snow is all gone and most of the lakes will be open by the end of this week, with any luck I could be fishing on Tuesday. Sad part is, no more snow for my less then perfect landings. Guess I'll have to make the planes waterproof.

Polyspan

Does anyone know where to get Polyspan covering material from a supplier in Canada?
If not how about a good US supplier?
or another covering material that spray paints well.
Thanks
Glen

Poly Tissue is avaliable through this link www.clcentral.com
This is the stuff that "Tom Morris" sold, my Buddy is now selling it as well as the rest of his stuff. Poly span as some know it and poly tissue as it is now is very much like silkspan but heat shrinkable. it can be glued or doped or polyurithane(SP) on. it will seal up tight and fuel proof with 3 coats of dope @ a 50% or 1 coat of water based polyU. I also use it as a fiberglass for smaller park flyers I think it is 10.00us for a 20foot X 20inch roll
