like this we wait years before new products........
Mr Lin is a great person the only think gws has to understand is that improuvements on the market are very fast if they want to be competitive company they must show not 1 or two new models a year but something more and it will be great if they begin with some bigger models like most of the others company do |

It really shouldn't take this long to produce a model airplane. With programs like solidworks and the such. I mean the whole P-38 thing it's been going on for 2 years now, and we have seen pics. So whats up?? Look at all the people buying the Raiden P-38 why beacuse people are sick of waiting for GWS. GWS still won't give any straight answer as to whats going on. Only thing left to do is just give up and move on to other companys producing kits you want..

To slow? No, to fast!!
The only thing I can agree with all of the complaints that rain on GWS and especially on Mr. Lin himself is that they should keep more of their stuff in secret before pronouncing it to the crowd. Three month in advance would be a fair time. BUT people...!! Be serious... What is all that hacking on that approach? First: How many new planes is Alfamodels or Flying Styro Kit really releasing every year??? Two each? WOW, thats a lot for companys that got nothing to do with servos, electronics, batterys TX, RX...and so on.Think about how many NEW releases you get from GWS! (Airplanes, brushlessstuff, LiPos, ESC, transmitters, propellers, bla, bla, bla.....) GWS takes care of the WHOLE spectrum of rc-sports (especially flying). Don´t forget, GWS started with producing servos... High quality at very good prices made them businesspartners with Kyosho and Graupner and so on. Building airplanes is a plus plus. And it´s for us so we can benefit from that. Another thing: GWS is mainly based on ONE man (Mr.Lin) who has to take care of at least 2 or 3 factories and numerous offices on two continents. Again, be serious, how many other CEOs will you meet in an RC-Forum, still taking time to get in contact with their supporters. That man lives GWS, he IS GWS. But instead of cheering him up once in a while, all the comments I can find (in many other threads) are picking, are demanding and sometimes people want him to solve any problem right away, the same day all by himself whilst running a business bigger than most of us would be capable of. My whish: Don´t get personal to much, show some respect for the tons of work and loads of inventions that man did and still does. Sometimes we tend to forget such things, maybe because Mr.Lin just shows up to many times in this forum, which for some people might look like he has got nothing else to do. Don´t get me wrong... I just had to cry out once... Thanks Mr. Lin for bringing me back to modelflying... You´re doing a brilliant job, and I enjoy every one of your comments in this forum. I don´t want to see you in need of one of those famous Chinese morning cheer ups for yourself one morning. |

If you’re saying GWS deserves more time then I say GWS has bitten off more then it can chew! Sometimes when you try and do everything you end up doing nothing. GWS would have made a LOT more people happy producing a P-40 or FW-190 <God Forbid a P-38> at 1:12 scale then they did by selling LiPo batterys. I don't go to Thunderpower or Tanic for planes and I’m not going to GWS for batteries! Enough with the excuses, make the planes or your customer base will start shopping else where. Tommy D |

I can safely say that Mr. Lin will never post in this thread and if he does his post will have nothing pertaining to any info to help us out. It will be the good ole.. "I will let my people know about this thread" or "GWs make you fly happy" I don't care if he is the CEO and he is taking time to post, maybe he should stop posting and hire somone to do his PR. Maybe he should spend more time running the company. Chris |
