It's blowing right now- the trees are swinging back and forth in the yard- Windtalker says 50F blowing 3-6mph average out of the NNW. I tell you it's gusting 20 up here!

M2 tower (windmills) is showing due north at 10.
BMS is showing NNE at 12.
Zion might be a better bet than Powerlines. Think I'll pack up and head out there now.

Im at powerlines. Its keeping my plane up but its getting soaked. Someones car is here with a speedo.. Noone is in the car. Its pretty good: the rain should be gone soon

That was fun! The rain slowly dissapated. I flew my bee, bill got his out and flew too. I will be back there soon. I would like to meet someone at zion in a few weeks so i know where to fly.

Zion was a fun day...first east, then rain, then west, then calm, then north. Virgin franken plane, Baracudda, flew quite well, needs more vertical fin and/or nose weight.

BEE question: if my be resists inverted flight, should i move this CG back maybe .25 cm?

Can't say how far you should move it, but CG at 8.5" from the nose generally pretty close
to optimal and should fly just fine inverted.

Depends more on the wind, than the snow amount. Jones Pass Snotel site says
they got only an inch of snow up there yesterday but no telling how much of it drifted over the road.
