If you want to send the Dom across the ditch, I'll get the Waikato boys to show her a good time. The Wellington crowd might be keen, too.

Yeah, I can just see the headline, the "DOM does the Hindu Kush!" There has got to be some world class slopes there!

Yes. I can see a headline, too: " US spends 4.5 million on missiles to down
$100.- , globe-trotting foamie - Defence Dept. looking for scape goat with view to sue"

I have a Bagram RC Club t-shirt that you will often find me wearing on the slopes.

Interestingly, the Bagram RC Club page does not mention the $3m. UAV's they fly during the week. I would love to have one of these down at our local RC flying field. Could they perhaps lend one out, rather like the DOM World Tour?
"Naa", Steve will say, only on the UAV thread! "Yeeer" says I, "Slopers are hopers" - ain't they?

Cheers, all, particularly in Bagram.

But why NOT send them the DOM?

Christopher

The Dom just cant be sent to anyone.
They have to be a regular on RCgroups and has to go to a country or place that hasn't had it yet.

Oh come on lads - that thing spent 18 months over here. It flew nearly every mountain in Wales. I don't want to pee on your chips John and I'm not saying it shouldn't come over again but there has to be some progression to the journey. It just can't leep on going round and round in the order people joined the thread. Some places and people from the early days have never had it pass by yet.

Next up is Glenns decision. And I hope you guys are filling in the log book. There have been scant few pictures!
