Now I know what was wrong with the DOM. It still had a hangover from when it was with Nick in Sweden!!

Or maybe it had withdrawal symptoms, which I, stupidly, did not recognise. It probably just wanted a drink!!!

Litteraly 2 minutes ago, at 13.22 local time, the DOM arrived in Ireland !!

All well and sound !

Sorry for the late reply !

DOM still in the box, battery charged and receiver ready. Still haven't put it together, but first flight in Ireland got delayed... Snow is back ! Can't get to the local slope Hopefully, next week end, local or big slope down south.

We might have a really small issue with the wing joiners, but I'll sort that out (thanks Christopher )

Tour started March 2006 and here we are in April 2010 and still going strong great work that log book has got to be full of interesting names and places now.

Yep, read through the log book, very interresting, lots of stories etc etc. Worth to be cleaned up in a PDF file and printed with photos etc etc

wow... I can't beleive this is still going, I flew this plane in 06, early 06... I recall the old thread falling silent and worrying that it had all gone awry... I am really impressed.

I flew that thing at Secret Spot in what, 2007-2008? Watched Reed DS it effortlessly.

Slopetrash let me have a quick fly of the DOM when he first recovered it. I think I had only been flying RC a few months. It's doing pretty well to still be in once piece!

It's coming up to me at some point Chris, but I think it's going round the South first. Arrangements well underway to at least get some pics taken with it at the Giants Causeway. A wee fly too, if we can avoid getting thrown off by the ranger!
