Installing the ailerons servo & rods. I just realized that those tiny round set screw control horn connectors are FANTASTIC !!
I am using 3. The Sullivan Products .032" very flexable push cable slides thru the clamping holes perfectly. 1 piece of flex wire fed thru all 3 holes adjust for neutral position. Tighten the servo screw first, then align a surface, tighten the setscrew, do the last surface.
LOVE the missing snap links & threaded shafts.
Ordered 2 more Sullivans. for R & E.

Well I crashed my Blue Angels (Fat Albert) Now I have two and may possibly get a third. Here is one that is almost finished. I have to touch up a few areas because the whole thing I painted by hand. I hope that some of you like what I have done thus far.

The Build: Main Wing Fiber glassed, Wood Motor Mounts

This is the Electronics.
4 X 10a Eflite ESC's

4 X ESKY 1200-KV Outrunner Brushless Motors

1 MG 9g Rudder Servo

1 MG 9g Elevator Servo

2 After Market 9g Aileron Servos

Now my only challenge is how to put a 2200 mah 30 - 40c lipo inside.

I noticed that some pilots did successfully put two outrunners only on this Cargotrans, while another two engines were empty but their props. You might have been the first pilot who applied four outrunners on it. Good job !

Why Thank You @ twn Chen. Now I just have to find a way to put a 11.1v 2200mah 30 - 40c lipo in her.

Oh you might have to carve the foam carefully for the lipo, and I think 30C or 35C one is good enough, it's lighter and cheaper at least.

I don't know the power rating on those motors but chanes are that thing will move vey fast. Hopefully you reneforced the wing! I'm looking forward to the flight video...

Also, I am finishing My Blue Angels Fat Albert C-160. Double Prop.

Yes, Carlcorn is right, it's better to reinforce the two wings, especially the quad's one, as you apply more powerful motors than the stock ones on them.

Anyone flown their cargotrans as a slope glider?
Did you fly it stock or did you add wing to the design?

Just wondeing if I should fiberglass it with 0.75 oz cloth to increase durability as well as some carbon tow on the top/bottom & sides...

This is my third one. as far as the wings go. they are reinforced. I used fiberglass to cover all my cargotrans main wing. with this grade of fiberglass.

It adds a little weight but flying on rails with no wing bending.
