F-15 EDF Indoor version

Finally a manuverable indoor jet. Scaled it to 80%, powered by 40mm GWS fan. Had to add trust vectoring too manuver at low speeds. AUF is 175g.

That was very very good - Thank you for letting us see it.
The Thrust Vectoring was very clever - light but effective.
Best regards

Thanks! I havent got any good landings on tape yet. Float her in, high alpha then when close to ground give full throttle and elevator. She lands on her tail allmost vertically in practically ZERO ground speed. Had to add "rails" on here tail to avoid damaging the tail/cone of the plane lol...

Great work, E-man! That model flies really nice, especially for such a small model. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks man. Great plans. Easy build. In the video it was a bit touchy on the elevator. I sorted that out by installing a better servo city better centering and smaller steps. I'm really satisfied with her now...

Balsa

Hi Guys,

I am interested in building one of these planes and wondering if anyone has tried using say 6mm Balsa instead of depron. I prefer to build in Balsa.

Many thanks

Nick

Well - Depron has much less 'grain' than Balsa, weighs less than Balsa and is more resistant to shattering.
But there is only one way to find out BiFiCi ....

Ok Guys, i get the message, balsa is a rude word right!

How about 5mm foam board. I can get that easily. 6mm Depron seems hard to find here in Mallorca.

Thanks

Nick
