Lead acid battery charging

I have a Dymond super turbo charger that I use to charge all my RC battery packs. Can I use it to charge a 12V lead acid motorcycle battery? What about a standard automobile battery?

Not true - I know a Schulze will do the job (on the smaller capacity batterys +- 10ah) and I am sure there must be others makes as well that will do the job.

I imagine that a motor car battery would take a very long time to charge with the hobby chargers we use !

My Schulze isl 530 will go up to 2 amps depending on the state of charge. Yes it takes a long time to charge a car battery

Greetings,

I use a 7A sealed lead acid for field charging my park flyer batteries, and have had no problems charging it with my Dymond Super Turbo. Now, I have no idea whether I'm putting a full charge into it or not, as the battery is old old old and likely almost bad, but I get the same numbers from dead to full charge each time.

So I should just ignore the fact that the SuperNova instructions say you can charge lead-acid batteries, and that there is a program on the charger for lead-acid batteries?
