How do I find Local Clubs - Events?

Hello All,

I am looking for a local R/C Club and events in my area. Is there a website with listings of events happening that is searchable?

Try AMA website.
They will have all the charter clubs there.

The big problem with the AMA site is that they have MANY defunct clubs in there that don't meet anymore, or have any place to fly. There are also several clubs of 1 or 2 people on there as well....i.e. not much of a club....;-)

I checked out the RC Airport site...it looks like it is just a duplication of the AMA list. Clicking on most of the clubs in California yields a blank entry with sample substance behind it.

That would be your best bet to try. Someone at the local hobby shop would have most of the info you want.
