Joe, Look in the "other " Misc column--(not sure why we have two) there's a complete set for $10 shipped--not sure of capacity but if wire diameter is at least 1/8 dia, they should do 3 lbs

My error---they've been there for days w/ no activity & are just spoken for

I use a Robart Micro Nosegear in my 4lb P-38. It's pushing it a little but we have a nice paved runway.

Good luck!

Thanks guys!

Staggerwing- I saw that post - though I can't find it again. I tried to find more info on them but could not so I did not act on the sale. For the asking price I probably should have. Thanks.

Brian, If the Micro works for your heavier plane I might just try it. The link you sent is for a tail gear. I did a search for the steerable gear but nothing came up. Would you happen to have a link available? Wanna sell the phasor 15/3 you just picked up with the lot of motors? Thanks, Joe

I think that's a typo on Towers part. The picture is of the steerable nosewheel unit and it's listed under "nosewheels". Plus the steerable nosewheel part # is 124. So I think they messed up. Here's the same unit at Robart.com (scroll down)
http://www.robart.com/retracts/12A.aspx

The tail units they offer look completely different -

I've ordered them many times from Tower, so I would just call to make sure, or order from a different Robart dealer. It's not like they're hard to find
Good luck!
