I have a zagi and would be willing to hook up for some combat in Bountiful or Farmington. I'm in Ogden, but have family in Bountiful. Centerville JH has a huge field and could be a great meeting place.

Ogden Combat Fun Fly

PM or email this to anyone you think would be interested. Anyone else is welcome to use this graphic to get something together somewhere else. I wouldn't even mind having one in Centerville at the Junior HIgh. Seems like a decent middle ground for those in Salt Lake and Ogden.

For the meantime we'd like to meet tomorrow in Ogden:

All invited:

COMBAT and FUNFLY.
North-East Corner of the BDO, Ogden
Saturday morning 8 till 11

Please contact Jeremy for more directions to the site if needed: jstott@weber.edu

Jeremy I like your combat graphic.

Actually Ill be there closer to 9am. Im bringing a gasser along, hopping to convert him to electric and combat. The business depot has tons of space to fly. Chime in if your interested. I think if we get some bountifull and centerville and Salt Lake folks together then Centerville would be a great place to fly in the future.

I haven't put my over 1 year old WW cores together yet, but I do have a Mini Speed Wing (24") that has been mothballed that I could revive for some combat. A great place for combat would be Barnes park in Kaysville. It has a lot of open airspace to the west of the fourplex baseball fields. There are two soccer practice fields and then a huge plowed unplanted field, for soft crash landings. It is an easy exit off of I-15 and is about midway from Bountiful to Ogden.

Go to the UFO website and you will see an aerial shot that shows the fourplex baseball fields, then just to the west (left) a parking lot, then further left and above grass practice fields, and then further left plowed fields.

What is the weather supposed to be like Saturday morning before 10am?

I'd come. I have 2 brothers that live really close to that and if they could see some combat action, then maybe they'd buy one.

The weather is supposed to be good. Let us know. I will go.

We should PM the Bountiful and Centerville guys in this thread also.

Not yet but I went to this place once to get some instructions but I think I might have to go again some time. What size foam and how much does it take to make the buzzard? Its easier to hit bigger targets and use a bigger swatter.

Is anyone flying Saturday? Post here if you are flying in the weber/davis area.

Nate,
It wouldn't let me PM you. It said your box was full.

Anyway...

I'll talk to my brothers this weekend. I can pay you or Lee through Paypal if it's easier. I'll also see if I can get ahold of Brad Waddups to tell him his plane is ready. I haven't heard from them either.

As far as Saturday, I'll probably be there until 12 unless I hear from you so just give me a buzz if you think you can come. I'll stay later.

My Zagi servo fried so I'll be flying everything but that. Don't ask me how, but it did.

Later -

Jeremy

I totally forgot about this thread for Davis/Weber County, and I had even posted to it a few months ago.

So, is anyone flying tomorrow or Saturday? We need to get organized like the Utah county guys for some combat or just Fun flying.
