Spacklesque filler before glassing?

Got a foam wing that I need to glass here real soon and I dinged it in a few places getting aggressive with the sanding blocks. Ok fine, I chunked the foam in a couple spots!

Anyway, I wanted to know if you guys who glass regularly use something as a filler between the glass and the foam for instances like this or if you fill after the glass is layed on?

Thanks, RJ

OK, I'll give the spackle a go. I kinda figured the West Systems would get into it and make it sorta like microballoons anyway.

Thanks Tim and Ave.

RJ I mix a little with water to thin the paste out as well its easier to apply also with a real thinned coat you can paint it on to a surface like balsa controls and works the same as dope and talc FWIW
