Folks,

Look the condition of my AcroMaster after a brief meeting in air with a glow trainer.
The glow trainer owner just land his plane with dead motor, clean it and run away before I came back with the wreckage, that's odd don't you think??

Nah, you should of waited until he landed then run over and stepped on his plane real quick before picking up your pieces.

As for the contest between a heavier, more reinforced (to deal with the IC engine vibrations) glow plane and a foam electric, I'd think the built-up would win the majority of times. Sorry to hear of your loss though. Mid-airs suck, but they're also usually no ones fault, just part of the hobby.

Yea, positive thoughts, positive thoughts...

But the other flier make some bad comments about my AM Yesterday, when I was launching it.

Thus, I don't understand his behave after the clash, no excuses, no help to collect the pieces, just run off as soon as he could,

What worries me most is the time needed to replace the AM

Crash/ maiden

Sorry to hear about your loss.The other guy ran away because he thought it was his fault and didnt want to have to pay. On a brighter note I got to maiden my AM today at our clubs chilli fly. It flew perfect with no trimming needed at all. I was totally impressed. It was 28 degrees, but sunny. Happy New year to all

Lost tail wheel

The tail wheel fell of my AM today. Can someone tell me the diameter of the wheel so I can try and find a new one.Where can I order AM parts? This little wheel has me shut down.

27mm or 1.050"

A 1' foam wheel should work fine although the stock ones are very light.

LVC cutting out

I'm running the himax 3516/1130 motor with 12 x6 prop at 6000 ft above sea level. I'm useing a 2100MAh 10c lipo rated for 31 amps 42 burst. CC 45 amp ESC. On my MPI watt meter it says I'm pushing near 300 watts and 30 amps , but if I run full power for like 20 second the motor kicks off. I can throttel down and go again. Its fine if I keep it half throttel and only kick it for a few seconds.Is this normal or is my battery really not putting out what it says it should?. The battery is new, with only 2 flights on it. When I just checked it for like only 30 seconds I could feel the battery and ESC were starting to get warm already. The battery was charged on a Triton and balanced on a thunder power balancer!

The voltage on your 10C (21A) pack is sagging when you draw 30 amps. Watch it when you plug in your wattmeter. It is probably fine with the burst current for a while and then decays till it hits your LVC. Classic pack killer.

You need a stronger pack, smaller prop, or shorter burst. Even an 11x5.5 on that motor typically draws upwards of 340w if the packs can put out.

Edit: You've changed the math on your pack. What is it exactly? 10C is 21A not 31A. The problem is still the same. Watch your meter when you pin it.
