El.Bandito RG

as I cannot find my original thread anymore I had to open up a new one, sorry.

Today I mourn the sad demise of a good and beloved old friend... my EB RG #3 is no more.
2 seconds of Fail Safe made for a quick and brutal end; the hardened desert sand took its toll. Destroyed everything in front of the rear fuselage... see pics.

and now to the future:

a loooong wait may be over soon!
The new producer has unveiled EB V3 on the international toy fair at Nuremberg; attached are the pics a friend of mine took.
The moulded wings are now standard, and it should sell for about 550€.
No info of the completeness of the kit or any other info, I haven't seen the new complete kit yet. I'm looking forward to receiving a set of wings, then I can tell you more.
I'll post order info as soon as I have it.

Its so sad to see such a nice plane crash, I hop you’ll be even more happier with the new one you told me about. In my cam I had filmed the take off but mist the crash, usually I study my crashes this way.
Will again good luck in the new one and hopefully I’ll see you soon.
On the WeMoTec F-16 I have changed my mined and bought the Aeronaut Panther F-9F ARF Kit

I know that feeling. I had a TameCat that I was speck flying with inverted, and I must have dove down too fast. It ripped the wing off, and went in spiriling like a perfectly thrown football, straight in from a barely visible altitude, 3/4 throttle. Everything infront of the elevator was gone, motor about 2.5 feet underground, and the wing hit about 3 min later.

BTW, how were those cells originally aranged? I can't make any sense of that tangled mess.

Any idea what caused the radio lockout?

you see from below here, it was 8s4p 1500HD and you see only 5 of the 8 4p packs.

nope. I just know that here some things are on 35 which normally are not supposed to...
