Question
What's Better H9 Corsair or P-40?

I've been looking at these two planes and am having a hard time deciding which one to get. I would like to get the one that holds up the best and performs the best, but I don't know which one that is.

Thanks,
Newkid.

Both are decent planes. I like the Corsair over the P-40.

I've heard from one that flys the Corsair that it likes to tip stall so you have to keep the speed up.....I fly both the P-40 and P-47 and love both of them.....

Just my $.02

My P-40 flies beautifully and has no tipstall whatsoever.

Does the Corsair tip stall or is that an old wife's tale? Is the P-51 better than the Corsair?

Mine has no tendency to tip stall and can be landed slowly.

Do any of the H9 warbirds come with half decent retracts? I wasnt to impressed with the retracts that came with my Mustang and ended up putting robart retracts on it. Are all the retracts basically the same on all there warbirds, I like the 60 size p40 and p47.

The retracts on my P-40 are actually quite sturdy.

Very rough dirt.. It DOES nose over. The retracts haven't failed yet though.

Mine will nose over if I fail to apply up elevator while taxiing, but other than that NO problems (other than to remember to retract the gear AFTER the plane has left the ground - NOT BEFORE)

That's good to hear that you fly off of rough dirt. I have a two hundred foot runway in my back yard that is not exactly smooth. I have not flown a gas aircraft yet I fly a Parkzone Typhoon 3D which is very touchy, somewhat fast and tons of fun. you can get into trouble with it it, but it is very easy to get out out of trouble. I fly it pretty proficeintly. Do you guys think I would be O.K. flying a high performance warbird like these or should I get The new H 9 40 sized cub?
