Ikarus Planes

I still have my Bleriot and Grande Eindecker planes from Ikarus as well, I put a 280 with a 4.1 gearbox on my Eindecker and it flys great. I put a GWS D and 12X6 prop and flew it indoors this winter. I like your battery on top idea, looks like it makes a nice clean installation. I'll have to try that GWS 370.

Very nice pics Boomer. That looks like fun. Sounds like you really have the Bleriot flying well with the new motor.

Thanks all. It's a fun plane to fly and I love the "old" planes!

Charlie it really doesn't fly much faster than it did before but it sure gets up to flying speed a lot faster!! Actually I am very pleased with the result! In gusty wind with the M100 there just wasn't enough reserve power to get out of trouble due to the huge sail area but this sure cured that!
