Yes - more info please. I would be interested if adaptable to the AF 010 or one of the Hacker B20 motors.

Oops! Just looked at the EJF Site - they list the EDF-300 as using sp280, 300 and Hacker B20. The shaft diameter of the 010 may be a problem at 1/8".

Steve

The WeMoTec EDF Micro Fan (Cat. #MC 001) has an inside diamter of 50mm and accepts motors up to 25mm diameter (aka Speed 300). With 8 cells it can produce appr. 200g thrust. The unit weighs 14g, without motor, of course.

David Roberts collected enough to keep enough people happy until his store, EAM, receives more from WeMoTec. These should be a very good replacement for the K&P 44mm fan it is intended to compete with. I bought one and have only done some hand-held testing, and [without any scientific measuring means] I like it.

How does this compare with the wooden one that was in EFI and that Andy Telzer uses so convincingly in his MINX?

Cheers,

Martin

Is this something that can replace my KP-44 fans on my K&A A-10? I might consider these seriously if they will give my A-10 more juice

Any idea how to adapt for 1/8" shaft though on the 010?

dang!

After some additional thought perhaps a .125 reamer (or series of reams leading up to .125) might do the job.

Any machinists in the crowd?

Obtaining data on these fans seems a bit like pulling teeth

Can anyone with real practical experience with this fan give their impressions of it?

I am certainly interested in one for a Flying Styro F-16 with either the brushless hacker or the AF 010 on 10 cells. A micro Mig-15 certainly would look killer!

Thanks for the help.
