i have 2sided tape on them atm holding the batt on, But you can see the old batt tray that is weak also the 4 holes with screws. You just drill/melt 4 holes thru the landing gear like stock trex gear is mounted and i also reamed on side out so screws set into the gear a bit and screw it all back togeather.

Besides the flybar this mod i like the best its like mini training gear and makes it look bigger

remove the 4 screws holding the battery tray and skids on the cx. use the battery tray to mark your holes on the new skids (my old trex skids) and drill or melt the holes insert the screws and put the new skids on its that easy. You also have to sut the body a bit around the new skids

If you cut the skids you can get the same weight prob. I have about 2.5" on both side of the skid arms. It realy does seem to take off better. so I dont mind the extra weight
