Easy Star with Brushless Motor/ESC and Ailerons - Ready to Fly
For Sale - Easy Star airplane, ready to fly minus Tx.
This is a NICE flying airplane, and in perfect condition / never crashed. Here's a list of the mods / improvements made to it, and equipment included. I'm also listing the new price for each item, for reference:
Easy-Star Airplane $59
Brushless Motor Upgrade - Axi 2208/20 $65.90
Brushless ESC - Castle Phoenix 25 amp $60
Elevator and Rudder replaced with shaped and covered balsa aileron stock
Ailerons added to the wing
Hitec HS-81 servos for elevator and rudder $36 (for 2)
Hitec HS-55 servos for ailerons (one servo for each wing) $28 (for 2)
Hitec Electron 6 Dual-convesion 6-ch Receiver, w/Ch 32 crystal $65
Thunder Power 2100-3S Pro Lite battery $75
The Axi gives about 30-40% more power than stock. Not a vertical climber, but just the right amount of power for all-around use and super-long run times, plus good aerobatics. Enough power to carry a camera if you want to make it into an AP/AV ship.
Motor mount area was stiffened by adding carbon tow to the outside of the mount. The pictures show the installation of the electrics, and well-placed cooling holes for the battery, motor and ESC.
I have $315 invested without battery / $390 with battery.
Asking $210 shipped without pack / $270 shipped with pack.
