Re: United Hobbies:
I have taken this revolver with a single bullet loaded and pulled the trigger to my head. I had no issues and even received a happy "click" sound! I highly recommend everyone else giving this a try.

Hey, I'm glad it worked out for you, but they have a bit of a reputation to recover from before I bite that "bullet." In any case, that really belongs in its own thread, not the Crash Sale.

I have to agree with macr totally re united Hobbies. But I'd say the gun was 1/2 full of bullets! Anyway regarding the crash sale, i haven't been excited in anything they 've offered in a long long time. To pay 22.00 + 8.00 shipping on a flat plate foamie, I'd go to a LHS and spend $28.00 on a slope GWS plane. My thoughts.

Yeah, half full in a 5-shot pistol, too. Just don't send 'em a MO. At least one member here did, and they kept it, didn't send the goods, big problems. Tread carefully.

This has got to be the worst one yet. Great! A plane that's no fun to fly, yet really fragile.

I'm thinking the days of the good crash sale's are long since gone. Just mostly non desirable expensive stuff. I mean, imagine if paying 22.00 is too much for this flat plane foamie, what would you think if you had to pay 40.00 + 8.00 Shipping=48.00? Normally, a flat plate foamie is anywhere from 19.00 to 29.00 IMHO. Who are they kidding?

Well, they had those servos that people like to snatch up. There was also a couple really good Heli crash sales. There was also the profile Pitts that was nicely priced.

Sheesh, not every week will.....ah, nevermind. The "unsubscribe" button is available. For me, it's still nice to check each week and see if I can save some money on a wanted item.

My "Uzi" wasn't a "great" crash sale, but it was something I wanted and I got it for less, so I'm quite happy with the deal. I don't expect every week to be something I want.

I haven't seen anything on Crash that even remotely interested in me in several months
Used to be I'd set the alarm to get up on Wednesdays, but now I just sleep in....

Ditto for me Brian. When it first started, it was like christmas every wednesday. Now, it's all over priced, or just stuff I don't want. I guess they set high expectations early on, saying " deeply discounted items, prices slashed, etc." and now it's stuff like a $30.00 flat plate foamie, hoh hum?

I remember buying a revo cp heli for $49.00 and a scorpio hellcat for $39.00! Now, it's stuff I'm not interested in. OH well, like the fellow said, I could unsubscribe, but where'd be the fun in that hey?

Did you ever hear about the guy that complained because he was going to be hung by a new rope?

Yes, 3 different arms + the center screw that holds the arm onto the servo. There were no mounting screws though, I don't need them anyway, I use hot glue.

At this price I will buy some more of them. These prices are better than what you'll find at a Crash sale.
