I have been wanting to try my hand at vacuum forming some parts. I need a vacformer though

Anyone have some plans or know where to get some? Thanks!

have you tried a search. There are numerous threads on this.

Here's what I do: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=271187
I have since started using the oven to heat up the plastic. Even heat, works much better, especially on large sheets. I found the best temperature is about 285degF for the plastic I use.

When I got interested in vacuum forming, I bought a book by Douglas E. Walsh; "DO IT YOURSELF Vacuum Forming".

Worth it's weight in gold. Used all comonly available stuff, including the kitchen oven, and worked great.
