Anyone used Hobbydirekt?

Hi,

I live in Luxembourg and I'm thinking of ordering an ARF from Germany. Have any of you dealt with this company?:

http://www.hobbydirekt.biz/

Could somebody who speaks German confirm that they have a €9.95 flat rate for shipping plus a 4% charge for using a credit card or Paypal. I would really appreciate confirmation of this, because with my (very) limited German I could have missed something. The shipping info is here:

http://www.hobbydirekt.biz/shop_cont...uage=de&coID=1

Thanks very much,
Matthew

Thanks Thomas! That was really helpful.

Hoellein have some really good deals, but I want someone who sells Hangar 9 ARFs.

Cheers,
Matthew

I ordered a Twist 3D from Hobbydirekt today. Their system is pretty smooth, and the shipping for the ARF (that's 2.2kg) really is €9.95 which seems very reasonable.

One note to anyone using them - don't hit the Edit button by dispatch method - you lose all the payment information you've just entered.

Now let's hope it arrives...

Thanks for confirmation.

My order hasn't come yet, but I'm not surprised as it said 2 weeks on the site, and I'm not sure if that was for delivery to their shop or to me. I expect they had to order it from their distributor.

It finally came yesterday. Apparently the distributor was on holiday, though I still think a month and 2 days is a bit silly. OTOH, I probably couldn't have done better elsewhere.

Well, yes, I've just learned that reaction times of Hobbydirekt are slooooow... and customer service simply doesn't exist! An order I placed in November 2005 was delayed for three weeks without any notice, then I was told (after asking per email) that the model I wanted wasn't available. I then cancelled the model and the additionally ordered battery to get the rest of the stuff until xmas (a transmitter, receiver and two crystals). The packet arrived some days later, but to my surprise it included the battery (that I cancelled) and the crystals were for the wrong channel.

I complained about that and the shop owner replied immediately that he was sorry and that new crystals would be shipped immediately. Two weeks later I asked again and got no reply. After my next email I was told that the guys at MPX were on holidays, so the crystals were not available. On Feb. 1st, after some more unanswered emails, I was told that the crystals had now been shipped and everything was alright.

Well, until today nothing has arrived here, and the shop owner does not react on my emails any more. I still have that battery and two crystals lying aroung that I can't use because that channel is over-crowded at our local club. I'm really pissed, and I can't recommend that shop. S**t happens, everyone can have a bad day, so I don't blame him for messing up my order. But not reacting on a customer's complaints is absolutely no-go!

Never heard of that shop before, seems to have not really a reputation at all (at least here in germany ).

No i do not have the stuff yet, and thats the problem. I called my local post office yesterday and they didnt have the parcel yet. I will call them again tomorrow and ask whether it is there already. By the way comanche3, i did not get an answer in 2 weeks. And on the website the order status is still Waiting for Article. What would that tell you?

Seems like you are awfully obsessed with Hobbidirekt.biz, because all your posts are just a way to advertise this company.

Please be a little fair and donīt start complaining about us after ONE WEEK and ONE E-MAIL NOT ANSWERED WITHIN ONE DAY ! You make so much "noise" about one international ground shipped packet, that didnīt arrive after 2 weeks. Is this really all ? If you really need those items that fast ask us about airmail or better buy those items in your nearest shop ! Itīs just unfair to post here, start a new thread and then even attack one of our affiliate partners (comanche3) just for one order (thatīs by the way secured via paypal) Do you really think we wonīt deliver you those items and will fly on holidays with your 300€ (which of course isnīt even possible due to paypal)or do you just want to create bad temper ?

Our club is nearly buy all stuff at hobbydirekt.de and the delivery time in germany is 1-3 days. If i order items not so famous it could take 5-6day. Look at the hobbydirekt prices.
